Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at House Lounge. We value your satisfaction and strive to offer a smooth return and refund process.

 


 

1. Return Policy

Eligibility Window:
You can place a return request within 5 days of the product delivery date.

Condition for Return:

Product must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition with original tags and packaging intact.

Unboxing video is mandatory for all return approvals.
(Video should show clear unpacking of the sealed parcel without any cuts or edits.)

Non-Returnable Items:

Items returned without an unboxing video.

Products that are damaged, used, or altered after delivery.

Products returned without original packaging, invoice, or accessories.

Return Approval:
All return requests are subject to inspection and verification by our quality control team.

Return Pickup:
Once approved, our courier partner will schedule a pickup of the product.

 


 

2. Refund Policy

Refund Timeline:

Once the returned product is received and inspected by our team, the refund will be initiated within 7 to 15 working days.

Refund will be processed to your original payment method or bank account.

Refund Mode:

For prepaid orders: Refund to the original payment source.

For COD orders: Refund will be processed to your provided bank account details.

Conditions for Refund:

Refund is only possible after successful quality check of the returned product.

In case the returned product fails the quality check (damaged, used, missing parts), the refund will not be processed, and the product will be sent back to you.

 


 

3. Return Request Process

Record an unboxing video while opening the package.

Email info@houselounge.in within 5 days of delivery with:

Order ID

Unboxing video (Google Drive link / attachment)

Reason for return

Await approval from our support team.

Once approved, we will arrange pickup and process your return.

 


 

4. Important Notes

In case of exchange, a flat fee of Rs. 150 will be applicable as shipping charges.

If the pickup attempt fails due to customer unavailability, a second attempt will be made. Failure to handover the product may cancel your return request.

If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued.

Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by courier partners or unavoidable circumstances like lockdowns, natural calamities, etc.
